How to Apply for Summer Learning Enrichment CBO Application
Organizations must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply:
The Seattle School District is 回顾 applications from community-based organizations to provide enrichment services at up to 12 elementary school sites during the SPS Summer Learning Program term (July 8 – August 2nd, 2024). Organizations must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply:
- Provide enrichment programming for K-4 grade students that incorporates career exploration within one or more of the following domains: science, 技术, 工程, 数学, 或者视觉/表演艺术.
- Provide students opportunities for career exploration, discovery and/or learning.

- Articulate ways in which they can or have contributed to supporting students furthest from educational justice and provide safe, 欢迎, and joyful learning environments.
- Provide staff who have experience supporting or teaching elementary aged students in classroom and youth development settings.
Organizations will be asked to 提供预算大纲 as part of their application and will be reimbursed for services; contract amounts will be determined based on the table below, with a pro-rated increase in reimbursement for up to 200 students; organizations may apply to support more than one site.

Key components of the SPS summer model:

- 1 Summer Learning Assistant Principal/Site Coordinator per school site
- 1 lead classroom teacher per classroom for morning academic content
- 1 Instructional Assistant (IA)/per class (contingent upon SPS hiring). IAs will be available for the entire school day as support staff; note that IAs will not lead enrichment classes but will be available to support.
- Up to 10 classrooms per site, up to 20 students per class
- Up to 12 elementary school sites (current sites accepting applications at time of RFQ release include: Broadview Thomson, Gatewood主持, 格雷厄姆·希尔, 金博, 奥林匹克山, 虎鲸, 南海岸, 西林地).
- Transportation meals (breakfast, lunch and snack) offered to all students by SPS

Selection Process and Timeline
SPS will review all applications that meet the eligibility requirements and select organizations based on the best interests of the Summer Learning program and reserves the right to conduct interviews if deemed necessary.

In order to be selected for the Summer Learning Enrichment, the community-based organization must be on the SPS Roster for Youth Programming Services or 创意优势花名册 or provide a submission to either list by March 27, 2024.
